SCORPIONS Ready For Mixed Crowds On Tour
October 21, 2004The SCORPIONS kick off a U.S. tour Thursday (Oct. 21) in support of their latest album, which is called "Unbreakable", at the Everett Events Center in Everett, Washington. The dates also feature TESLA and KEITH EMERSON, and the SCORPIONS are expecting to see a wide age range in the audience. Singer Klaus Meine told Launch Radio Networks that the band's recent North American tours have drawn fans from two generations: "It was not only the fans who grew up with our music in the '80s, but there were a lot of kids, also — like, 16-, 17-, 18-year-olds — singing 'Blackout' and 'Rock You Like A Hurricane'. And it was just great to see that our music obviously has the power to cross over to a new generation."
The SCORPIONS/TESLA/KEITH EMERSON package has shows scheduled through December 5 in Reno, Nevada, and more dates are likely to be added, including an East Coast run.
